RecommendedI HIGHLY recommend Never Alone Recovery. A family member reached out for help. I was given Nick's phone number. I reached out to him. My family member decided not to go at first. But, Nick did not give up on him. He continued to reach out until this family member decided he needed to get better. He's doing amazing in the short time he's been in treatment. Great site, inspirational thoughts and ideas, helping those who want to change their lives around. Going from the despair of addiction into a new life , full of endless possibilities to become a person that they could not even have imagined whilst in the despair of full blown addiction. Helped by those of us who have been there and have been enabled to find a way out. You are not alone anymore.
I was in the worst part of my addiction Hopeless and defeated. I didn’t know what to do or how to get out of it. Then I remembered this guy named Nick and I knew he helped a lot of people get into treatment. So I called him, he listened to me cry, telling him everything that was going on and beg for help, didn’t judge me once. He was so helpful, he did everything. N.A.R. is a free resource for families and individuals who are struggling with addiction. A friend called and spoke to Nick regarding his daughter. Not sure of of exact time frame, but with in a day, he found her a place to detox, and then a longer- term recovery facility.
I recommend becoming a home group member.. remember you never have to use again!!!
I live in the UK and get better support here than in the UK, everyone is very nice and supportive
