I absolutely hated this place! the ONLY good things about it was the apartment we rented was farily spacious and the repair man (randy) always came quikly and did a good job. keep in mind this ws back in 2007. we were under section 8 housing and although we still had to pay top price for the rent, our pg&e bills were never above \$50. and im one who will blast the ac in the summer time.and carmen (the manager at the time ) was absolutely horrible. very rude and self centered. I use to live there its not bad. For the most part all the noise comes from the road, cant really have windows open for long. The grounds are pretty nice and well kept. Carmen is no longer in charge, though she was a bit of a hard ass she got the job done. There is a new manager, from what I told, who rarely is seen. There used to be quite a bit of drug activity but has been cleaned up. I never saw uch of the cops. The only real annoyence for me was the neighbors when the decide to have a screaming fight. In my experience with these apartments, I would not recommend anyone try to live at the Nevada Woods Apartments. I had turned in my application for this apartment about three weeks ago, to a lady named Carmen, who from the get go was extremely rude and not welcoming. It has been now three weeks since I turned in my application and the lady, Carmen, called and stated that I was irresponsible and not trying hard enough, when she was not doing her job correctly.
