I have been suffering from severe anxiety and depression since I was 8 yrs old. Most of my life medication has never really helped. And about 7 yrs ago it got so bad that life was just passing me by. I cannot believe the results I’ve gotten! I’ve cried multiple times this week, not for being sad but for being so grateful and happy I am finally at a place I never imagined being possible. I feel so much more capable and after treatment I’ve discovered parts of me that have been hidden away for at least ten years! The technicians are so lovely and honestly my interactions with them were a highlight to my days! I’d recommend this place to anyone struggling with depression!
Does TMS actually treat depression? Yes, but I won’t waste words describing that very much, as you should speak with the doctors and treatment providers yourself. What I WILL say is that Neurostim staff are caring, genuine, and dedicated; the office frequently features coffee, Bob Ross, and dog videos, and I felt like a real person there, not just another patient.
I have struggled with medication resistant depression for years. Cycling through medications left me even more depressed and hopeless! I had looked into TMS years ago, but it was not readily available. 14 weeks ago I went on an FMLA paid leave from work due to my poor mental health. I had no appetite, slept a lot to avoid life, or just watched hours and hours of TV. That was when my therapist recommended TMS. Amazing facility, calm, clean, bright, with wonderfully attentive and kind staff. Flexible schedules and very understanding for when real life enters the picture. Services were provided with care and close attention to patient needs and comfort levels.
