I experienced sciatic like pain and underwent a microdiscectomy by Dr Michael Kern. The pain was gone instantaneously! He’s a good bloke and a great surgeon. I can’t recommend him more highly.

Workplace incident which resulted in a workers compensation claim being accepted. Had surgery early this year from Dr. Kern lumbar microdiscectomy L4/L5-post surgery (first 3 months was good) very slow recovery but managed to gain strength and mobility. Unfortunately everything went downhill. Loss control of left leg, terrible pain which results in me taking 5x 10mg endone daily, unable to drive a manual vehicle, can't sit for longer then 1hr. Let alone trying to ride my motorcycle, go fishing or even putting the dishes away... read more
