RecommendedI believe that Dr. Henkin is a great surgeon but I have always had to wait more than 2 hours in the waiting room: for my consult, and two post-op visits. I have missed time at work unnecessarily as a result. While Dr. Henkin is good at surgery, he really is not interested in his patients. I have been here, waiting, only to find out that he hasn't even made it in to the office yet. After more than three hours waiting, we spent less than 10 minutes with a doctor who couldn't even look at us. No compassion and blew us off. My special needs son felt hopeless. I never saw such arrogance in my entire life.
I had a spinal fusion and cage surgery on 5-2-18... I could barely stand or walk when I walked into Brandon Regional Hospital at 8am and I was standing up on my own at around 5pm that evening and walking around the hospital floor before 7am the next morning... instant relief and was treated with the most amazing staff and medical team I could ever ask for... I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Henkins! He performed surgery for my Mom and from the moment we met him we knew he was the right choice. Amazing bedside manners, professional, and he was very well liked and recommended by every person we met at the hospital, which was a great sign of his talent and skill! Thank you for such a great experience and surgery!!
