this doctor was really disrespectful and treated me like I had no value. I left the online appointment feeling very sad and upset. I would never work with him again.
I liked my provider (LaVonnie Joiner). But thats the only thing I liked about this place. During my consult Ms. Joiner asked me several questions about my medical history- all of which was detailed in the records I sent over in advance. When I told Ms. Joiner that, she said they don’t have any time to look at any records at all bc of how many patients they see. I finally found the time in my hectic work life to sit down and schedule this appointment right before I left for a 2 week "off the grid" travel. This was a part of my self care for the issues I had been having. My appointment was for 1 day after returning from my travel. 3 hours before my appointment I looked for my paperwork to fill out as with any other Dr appointment, only to find that they had canceled my 6/10 appointment for not having paperwork filled out by 6/6. I thought this office would be a good place for my 16 year old daughter since I was originally diagnosed here years ago. But now in reading the comments I must agree with the fact that they try to do shady stuff with medical records. Charging $50 for just a simple letter stating the diagnosis is crazy work. Then having to wait days to receive it. How long does it take to type a letter? Then when I voiced my concerns Brie was very unempathetic and was very ready to get me off the phone. Finding a new provider.
