kept confusing me with other patients. This is the kind of thing that happens when psychiatry gets too far away from quality work and becomes monetized within a capitalist economy. Thjs is mental health profession at its worst

Her knowledge of neuropsychiatric issues is wafer thin and so she thinks of it in terms of crude stereotypes. Her understanding is very limited, as insightful into human neurology and personality as an episode of Saved by the Bell. She does things like do a zoom diagnosis but if her camera isn't working and so you can't see her, she will mark that as poor eye contact. Or if she asks a question to look back over your entire life, she would mark it as "autistic" if there was a long pause as the person thought about it. That is... read more
