I’m a 55 year old runner with bunions, 44 years into the sport and never had injuries. But in April 2025, after running the Brooklyn Half Marathon, I discovered pain in my right foot under the metatarsals. After several months waiting for it to go away, I suspected Morton’s neuroma. That diagnosis was confirmed by another podiatrist in September using an expensive and apparently unnecessary MRI test. After that podiatrist suggested a range of options that included cutting ligaments, shaving down bones and cutting out the inf... read more

I am two days post RFA procedure and back home with so much to say. Firstly, Dr. Sergi and his team are absolutely top notch — I met Dr. Sergi at the end of my rope. I had been struggling with a Morton’s neuroma for a year and a half when we finally found his practice. My neuroma pain had gotten so bad that I was hardly able to walk or perform daily tasks. I was truly giving up on life. Prior to finding Dr. Sergi, I had seen two podiatrist back home in Michigan. The first wanted to jump straight to a neurectomy, which I was ... read more

Dr. Sergi treated my Morton’s neuroma in my right foot using radiofrequency ablation, and after years of seeing multiple podiatrists, countless cortisone shots, and spending a lot of money, I finally feel like my neuroma was truly treated. Dr. Sergi is incredibly patient and a great listener, which I really appreciated after being so frustrated with other doctors who didn’t take the time to fully address my condition. I’m very grateful for his care—thank you so much!

Dr. Sergi successfully treating my Morton’s Neuroma with RFA. My foot feels completely normal and after a brief recovery from the procedure I was able to resume all of my normal activities. Before finding Dr. Sergi, I went to many podiatrists who were unable to help me. It took a couple of years just to get the diagnosis of Morton’s Neuroma and then I was only offered steroid injections or neurectomy surgery. I live in South Jersey and Dr. Sergi spoke to me on the phone several times before I went to his office for the RFA p... read more

Dr. Sergi is an experienced and honest physician. He has successfully treated my Morton's Neuroma where two other practices have failed to do so, and in one case made the issue worse with an unnecessary surgery. His pricing is fair and the practice has invested in imaging technology to more accurately diagnose and administer treatment. This is the only office in NYC that uses ultrasound to guide the non-surgical RF ablation procedure to kill the nerve. I'm 6 weeks post-procedure and the nerve is no longer reactive! Really ap... read more
