I went here for neuropsych evaluation and testing. My doctor's name is Dr. Alexis J. Chappell. Other than having to keep rescheduling, the tech who did my testing was absolutely amazing and patient with me. I had no problems with this office and I would recommend it to anyone.
Terribly hard to get anyone to answer calls, and to fax in scripts in a timely fashion. I was also changed to a nurse practitioner from a doctor without any notification or agreement on my part. Also, I need to see a practitioner every six months for medication‘s but when they call and cancel an appointment, you can’t get an appointment for more than six months away. They also continually write my prescription incorrectly, which holds me up from being able to Receive my medication in a timely manner.
I was being seen by a doctor there, she went inpatient, now they will not see me until next year when I have a rare brain condition that needs to be monitored and was referred back to them by the neurosurgeon they sent me too, I’ve called several times over the last two weeks and a nurse has told me they would fit me in and call me back never received a call back, 4 of my doctors have reached out as well requesting I be seen and nothing has been done, and when you call they act oblivious like you haven’t called and it’s not ... read more
The office staff is incredibly difficult to get ahold of. We call and no one answers, we leave messages that are not returned and we cannot get their assistance to help handle insurance appeals. The insurance liaison person has not returned a single one of my multiple messages and has been not in the office during their normal hours multiple times.
Dr. Smith has been my doctor for many years now and I wouldn't have anyone else!!! I have come to find that sending messages to him on their patient website works best in communicating directly with him. That also eliminates the need to leave multiple messages that may or may not reach him. His e-mails download directly to him. He's up to date on all the newest and best treatments for my condition. I will agree that the daily operations of the office leave a lot to be desired!
