My husband, who had been treated for cervical dystonia for over 15 years with Botox injections , had received successful outcomes UNTIL he was seen by a referred neurologist , Dr Schim in Carlsbad, from his retiring health provider. I saw Dr. Schim many years ago for severe headaches. He said that the headaches were from migraines. From the beginning I said that the pain was behind the left eye and I constantly said that the Botox wasn’t helping. Two years of treatment and no relief.Finally ,He was trying to compare the current pain I had been feeling to when I first started seeing him because the pain was miserable.
