Terrible and traumatic experience, this is when I became skeptical of medical professionals, they were just a piece of the problem but were still part of the problem, it’s extremely frustrating when I get sent there with a Bac of 0 and yet no one listens to me, either at the hospital in which I went there for a completely different reason, or detox
You guys need better staff, they dont know how to speak to people, you dont tell someone who is in bed sick as a dog and fighting to stay there and get clean to either get up or get out...that person who was kicked out for wanting to sleep as they were day 1 in detox could possibly die now cause your staff pushed them right out the door and sent them right to the streets after they waiting 12 hours in the lobby to get in..maybe get staff who understands what the struggling addict is going through instead of pushing them righ... read more
I was in and out of this place back in 2007-2008. I'm sure a lot has changed from when I was there, but they did a good job taking care of me and helped me get into a program a few different times...so Thank you Kirkwood.
They really helped me here helped me get my head back on straight
Its a place to detox ur system, but after the 5 day detox the real battle begins mentally, so it will help but you need a plan after your visit is done in 5 days to keep sobriety... Trust me I know..I have been here more then 12 times. It works if you work it and truly desire it....Good LUCK everybody and GOD Bless you ALL⭐
