I had the misfortune of being treated by Dr. Ko at UCSF after having an neurovascular surgery. She was the assigned neurologist to my case. I have a panic disorder and nontractable headaches daily which are exasperated each time I have this procedure performed, (I've had 4 or 5) after the procedure I was experiencing an intense headache and anxiety as usual. I had the opportunity to be referred by my primary physician, Dr. Rony Kako, to Dr. N. Ko who I met after suffering a stroke in July. She listens to you and your pays attention to your description of your symptoms. After "getting to know you first", she then gives you an honest evaluation/critique of your problem and prescribes medications where she feels warranted. In addition to her very intelligent mind, she clearly enjoys helping people and relates especially to her patients. I strongly recommend Dr. Ko.
