Overpriced!!! Walked in with an external hard drive that wouldn't power up suddenly. I asked if someone could just take a look at it and almost fell over with the response. I was told there was a $179 diagnostic fee to start with. I only paid $80 for this when I purchased it. If they could have gotten it to power up then I would have been happy to pay what was needed to correct the issue. But if it was only a $5 or $10 power supply in the end, it still wouldn't be worth dealing with them.
I brought my PC to NerdsToGo to troubleshoot a booting issue I couldn’t resolve. Deja and her team were incredibly quick to identify the issue and even went to length of attempting to get me a free CPU replacement under warranty with the manufacturer, saving me hundreds of dollars. While it took some time (on the manufacturers behalf), Deja was able to get my CPU replaced and returned my PC to working form, all at an incredibly low cost. I attempted to get pricing on replacing a battery for a Surface Pro 5. This company wanted me to pay a $99 diagnostic fee in order for them to give me the general price for a battery replacement for the specific unit noted. There is no labor involved for you to tell someone how much you would charge for a battery replacement.
Knowledgeable staff, and quick implementation with no downtime for our business. Took our old IT infrastructure and upgraded it to a newer more manageable system. Can't recommend enough.
