RecommendedSo. I grew up on the OLD Neptune's. They seem to still carry all the original brands (IE: Western Mountaineering) and overall, seem to actually have more product. But after the purchase and resulting remodel, I can't help but to feel it now resembles a scaled down REI. I'm not ok with that. All of Gary's old gear & memorabilia is still there but it's hard to find, on purpose maybe?? Still a fantastic crew, fantastic brands.

Absolute best shop in Boulder. Loved them before the changeover and remodel and love them still. Best selection, best atmosphere and best employees. My partner would strangle me if I visited Neptune as often as I wanted.
