HORRIBLE PLACE TO EAT NOW. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME.
Hanging out with my Bestie is always fun, I've been busy the past few weeks and finally caught up with Dawn. Believe it or not it was my 1st time there. I had my fave Breakfast, Cream Dried Beef over Homefries w/ Toast on the side and it's the BEST Cream Dried Beef I've had anywhere.

My husband and I will never come back to this place, the smell of urine was over powering from where we sat. My mashed potatoes were cold, my salad looked like it was picked from out back and the apple dumplings I took home were sour and dry. I spoke to the waitress and all I got was “I made sure I told them in the back your food was cold” i paid $40 crappy dollars for gross food. No visit to my old hometown is complete to me w/o a stop at the Neptune, and it's every bit as good as ever. One of my favorite diners anywhere.
The food was amazing! The service was great! Everything was great!
Do NOT underestimate this tiny, humble looking diner! I ate here with my family on the way to Hershey. The meatloaf stack was featured on food network--it was delicious. The warm apple dumpling with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was the perfect dessert. The service was excellent. Everyone was warm, inviting and friendly including the owner who promptly answered the questions I emailed to her (prior to arriving) regarding my son's food allergies, among other things.
