I had Neptune install a wall-through unit as well as clean/service two other units. They were easy to communicate with for scheduling purposes, provided a COI, and am overall happy with the end result. As I live in a building with larger wall sleeves, there is some amount of insulation that is required to fill the empty space and properly install a wall unit. After several bad experiences with NYC AC companies (outrageous prices, bad communication, missed appointments) it's nice to deal with a company that is reliable and knows what it's doing!
Not sure what I would've done without Neptune. I couldn't turn on my AC during the peak of the NYC summer heat because it started to smell musty and gross, and based on my research, this is the only place that actually takes the unit to their shop for a proper deep clean. Stored my window A/C unit with Neptune 2 years in a row. First year was flawless: second year (2026), things slipped significantly. Communications were lacking and my unit was installed cracked and broken. It has been consistently making a loud rattling and popping sound (which had not happened the prior 2 summers) and when I contacted them to take a look, they were again non responsive save for one offer to come out at a time I’m unavailable. This is one of my favorite New York City services. Neptune Air Conditioning installs, uninstalls, cleans, and stores my air conditioners every year. Their guys are always right on time, very friendly, and incredibly efficient. It's so easy to set up the appointment via email and they have all the necessary insurance for any building. I have used them for a few years now and love getting my ACs out of my windows when summer ends. I trust Neptune 100%--cannot recommend them enough!
