This place has mixed reviews, but we thought the food was good. The side of beans and rice were both very small portions. A lot of the dishes are naturally gluten-free, BUT this is a shared kitchen, so keep that in mind if you have celiac disease or need to avoid cross-contact.
Terry the bartender is fantastic at his job! Friendly, superior service and professional.
Had the $75 ribeye and it was well worth it. Turned out amazing on top of veggies soaked in queso blanco. Everything we had was perfect. Guacamole was fresh, salsa was legit, and the queso blanco with the chips was the best.
This guy terry behind the bar is BEAST MODE! Very attentive, fetched us bandaids and alcohol pads for me!!! Recommend the single ritas as opposed to us grabbing a pitcher cause its $5 ritas!!! Most people would just make the sell….
Came across the Neon Cactus while searching for "Mexican restaurants near me." The interior decoration is pretty thoughtful and plays well with the restaurant name. The Neon Cactus is definitely more Tex-Mex than authentic traditional Mexican, like La Salsa Verde for example. The food and presentation are on spot and on par with upscale dining.
