The layout is good, but the kitchen water pressure is very weak, and the induction stove is not strong enough for cooking. Because the induction stove is underpowered, it needs to stay on much longer, which seems to lead to higher hydro bills.
I lived at Neon Apartments for over a year and highly recommend it. The location is conveniently right downtown and close to everything (groceries, coffee shops, bus stops, bank/ATMs, restaurants, etc.) - all within a 5-10 mins walking distance. The rent is affordable, and having an in-unit washer/dryer and heater was a huge plus. Melissa was extremely helpful with any maintenance requests or general questions. I definitely recommend this building to anyone looking for an apartment downtown!
The leasing agent Melissa was extremely rude and racially profiled me to an extent of discomfort. I would usually let this slide, but given the professional setting it was extremely uncalled for and made me feel emotionally sick. Knowing the various types of people walking through that door it is sad to see such people as the face of the organization. I would 100% not want to deal with Melissa again, knowing how I was treated today. It makes me sad and angry to have to go through this.
Very rude and unprofessional service.
I have been living in this building for two months. So far everything is great with helpful management and nice people.
