We have been seeing Dr. Dorian for over 10 years with two of my children. He has been one of the best doctors we have seen. He is always thorough, kind and helpful as well as encouraging. My youngest son is just aging out of pediatrics. I am really sad to leave Dr. Dorian behind. I don’t know if we will be able to find anyone half as good as him.
I started seeing Dr. Dorian around 16 years old when he diagnosed me with Eds then the next visit I had fibromyalgia and each visit he went back and forth he gave me pain pills (with a family history of misuse) and told me to exercise. Once I turned 17 he refused to see me a said go to adult rhemo. He was unkind listen on the first visit but after that he wouldn’t listen. I did NOT have a good experience in his office
Exceptional….hears both you as the parent and the PCPs and all specialist notes for the best care of the patient. He will answer/explain in detail any questions you have.
My daughter was referred to Dr Dorian because of a skin condition. He looked at it and made a diagnosis based on what he saw. He prescribed 5 years of methotrexate. I told him I wanted a second opinion and he told me they would only say what he said. Well, I got two more opinions from specialists out of the area who did biopsies and they both said the same thing- my daughter was fine and didn't need any medications.
