This was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had at a medical centre. I attended this practice for a general check up for flu symptoms and to get a referral letter. Before I had even begun explaining my concerns, Dr Aryan Hakimi immediately told me she would only deal with one issue and provide one referral because she was “very busy” and didn’t have time to cover everything. I had abdomen pain from Tuesday, the 14th July evening and on morning of 15/07/26 rang Pemulwuy Medical centre to book an appointment with any doctors available. My husband rang them just after 8:30am and the lady over the phone asked questions as to what’s appointment for and if it was my first time visit. Never been to a more slow pathology place. I’ve been twice this week and each time there’s been 10 people waiting in front of me.
We’ve been patients at this practice for over 11 years, and our experience has always been positive. Most recently, we needed to attend an urgent appointment, and the care we received truly reinforced why we continue to trust this team. I especially want to acknowledge Dr Hakimi.
