Terry is wonderful to work with, he is pleasant, patient, communicative and thorough. I used to go to the green garage location off of nicollet and always had a great experience, this location did not let me down either. He walked me through a list of potential issues to help me make an educated decision on how to move forward on my needed repairs. Please keep these guys in business and let them do work for you! 👌
I had "made an appointment" through their website and was instructed to drop off my vehicle for an oil change that would take a few hours. After dropping my vehicle off and killing 2.5hrs I returned to see my vehicle had not moved from the spot I had originally parked it. I was then told it would be done in another 1.5hrs. I decided to just leave at that point especially considering this was going to cost almost twice as much as places I had gone to previously. PSA Tim doesn’t work here anymore, and they were weird about it when my husband asked why. I’ve been going here for 8 years, but they somehow had no record of my car on this most recent visit (every prior visit with Tim, they’d already had all my info pulled up and I just had to drop the keys). Also, they charge for diagnostics now, which they (or at least Tim) didn’t used to do. I highly recommend Nelson's for your automotive repair and maintenance needs! Terry really took care of us way beyond the call of duty as we searched for a used car. He really went the extra mile for us! We have been bringing vehicles here for several years now since our daughter has lived in Minneapolis and they have always treated us fairly and honestly!
