I will not use this company when I need to have my house rented. They do not manage the property at all, did not have our best interest in mind and take the tenant's side. We had issues with the tenant violating the association rules and their response was that it the home owners association is difficult and we need to give the renter a chance since he is a single dad working hard with several children. The tenant would not keep up the yard and decided to make changes to the landscaping without asking for our approval. This is the worst property management company in Atlanta. They will not take care of problems. When I moved in they were going to meet me at the condo at 10:00am they never showed up. I had to call them several times demanding that someone open the condo. They showed up at 2:00pm cost me at extra $300.00. The wall in the shower fell and the whole was 3feet by 6feet. Nelson-Rives does not care about tenants. When I called to tell them that it was 25 degrees outside and I have a young son not even 2 weeks after I moved in that the furnace does not work and we have not heat, they had the audacity to ask me if I paid my bill and that no one would be able to come until later the following week. It happened again a couple weeks later and no one was able to come out for 4 days. They asked me to replace things when I moved in, even though they were all broken before I actually lived there. I rented a condo through them and they were not concerned when I called to report that I had a break in, all they said was I did not have a reason to move eventhough I let them know I did not feel safe because my place was broken into by someone watching me. When I told them I wanted to move because my family did not feel safe they said it would go on my credit. I would not recommend anyone to rent from them all they want is the rent money.
