I received a message 6 days ago regarding my mother’s test results which apparently are concerning and I have left messages since Monday to speak with Dr Nelson and have still not heard back. I would be grateful if he would please call again. My father passed away a few weeks ago and I apparently missed the original message. Consideration for the circumstances would be appreciated.
My family member went to Dr. Nelson as a referral. I went with her and even brought paperwork showing all of my family member’s medical issues. Her diagnosis was definitely pointing to one thing but instead, Dr. Nelson made it as if my family member was depressed and put her on anti-depressants. He helped diagnose my 18 year old daughter's migraines - reviewed all treatment options. Couldn't ask for a better neurologist!
7 minute 1st office visit. The doctor was not personable which is fine, but seemed uninterested in my case. Orders MRI, but has an office employee give results ONLY after I called a week later to inquire about results. Of course, this person could not answer my questions and I was told by office employee that the doctor only talks to patients about results if there is anything to say. I went to Dr Nelson for a tremor and he never examined me. He told me it was in my head and to up my depression meds. Turns out I had a severe vitamin deficiency that my new dr easily diagnosed and treated. Also, went DOWN on meds after I was finally diagnosed properly

It is rare for me to trust a doctor 100%. Dr. Nelson takes his time to explain things to patients. His diagnosis is onpoint, if your ailments are questionable. He has helped both my sons and I as well. I didn't even want to write this review , afraid he would gain so many patients I would never be able to get an appointment! Ha
Dr. Nelson has an amazing bed side manner. He takes his time, and explores every option. He has made my daughter very comfortable going to the doctor. He is patient and understanding. I hughly recommend him!
Dr Nelson is a wonder dr. I have been seeing him for many years and he is always willing to listen. He does not rush you in and out. He tries many options until he find what works best for you.
