Farm to table type dining with atmosphere.
Absolutely loved the food. The bar service was a bit off tonight. 3 chipped glasses and on the last one the server wanted to argue a bit about whether it was ice or a chip (I think I know the difference). Would I recommend this establishment, yes. Just check your glass rim before you sip your drinks.
Loved, loved, loved Nell Thorns! I had the Crab Tagliatelle and it was amazing. The flavors exploded in my mouth. Soooooo good. Also, the best scratch lemon drop I’ve ever had. I highly recommend Nell Thorns in La Conner, WA.
We sat in the bar, the bar tender started off great. But when people sat at the bar itself we were being ignored. Our drinks were gone for almost a half hour before I asked the bartender for fresh beers. I ordered a steak that was perfectly cooked. I did enjoy it. My wife ordered the Oyster dinner and the Oysters were very good, however the mashed potatoes were dry and inedible. Just bad. For the $$$ spent. Very disappointed and will not be back.

We had the Halibut & Fettuccine grandson had cod fish and chips. Both dishes were excellent!
Love this place! Great service and great food. Super fun bar.
