I have had my 2013 Ford Expedition’s AC repaired twice in the last 3 years at Neil’s Auto Air Service. I could not be more pleased! Good work, fair price, honest! I received a excellent reference about Neil’s from my cousin and I am glad I took his advice!
My wife found Neil thru the internet when my a/c went out on my Honda Pilot . I had my doubts that anyone in this day and age would be that honest. I took the car to him and he called with the diagnosis and cost. I was amazed he was quick and honest. He could have said it was anything and I would not have known the difference. I live by Austin. After searching everywhere for a solution to my problem with zero results, I got a vague suggestion about a shop in the Houston area. I finally found Neil's. After a short discussion with Tyson, who said solving my issue wouldn't be all that difficult. I have a lot of years of unfulfilled promises and attempted fixes that only made things worse. I live a hundred miles away, but couldn't get what I needed where I live. I found out about Neil's online and so I called them up. Tyson took my call and said, "Sure, we can make you hoses for your LS powered Porsche 928, No Problem." And so I hopped in the car and drove to their shop. Tyson immediately set to work to understand what I needed and to assemble the parts and do the necessary fab work to make them right. It just doesn't get better than this. All I can say is Tyson is awesome!! He was very honest and found out what it needed the same day. I have no doubt that if I took it somewhere else , they would have ripped me off BIG!! Thanks Ty for the cold AC!
Let me just say this... These guys are very professional and got my 2010 Buick Enclave a/c freezing cold!!!! The cost for the service was less than...... Let's just say you take your family out for a movie and dinner.... I'm so serous! They helped me out so much I had to give theses guys a 5 star rating.... Called Neil's up expecting the worst due to high mileage on my compressor. I had called the dealer up and described my scenario as well. Dealer listed all of the parts that would probably need replacing and quoted close to 4k. Found Neil's searching the web, gave them a call and spoke to (I believe it was Tyson). What impressed me was the fact that he did not paint a story of "doom and gloom" and was optimistic that I was not need in major repairs (regardless of mileage and the dealer's response). The AC went out in my car so I took it to the Mazda dealership to be serviced. Mazda said my AC condenser had a small hole and all the coolant had leaked out. They insisted the part could not be repaired and that it would have to be completely replaced, and they quoted me $2,100 for parts and labor. I'm very frugal, so I refused to pay that much.
