After I was stitched wrong and had a horrible experience giving birth at the hospital, he called me and basically mansplained my experience and told me that none of it happened the way I remember it :) what a delight I hope I never have to deal with him again

I was referred to Dr. Simmerman by a friend who was his patient and another friend who works at the hospital. At first, I was hesitant about seeing a male OB-GYN, but from the moment I met him, I felt completely at ease. He never once made me uncomfortable, and he truly listened to all of my questions and concerns without ever rushing me. Was scheduled last Friday for a annual visit to be able to get my birth control shot. The only available time was 7am. I work and go to school and have very limited amount of time. After driving 40 minutes to get here, get in the room undress and sit and wait, the NA came in to tell me that the doctor isn’t Here he’s running late. I waited another 25 minutes and he still never showed. I had to be at work at 8am which was why I made a 7 AM appointment. MAJOR INCONVENIENCE. No. Just no. OB's like this man are the reason I prefer female OB's. I had an excellent OB, who suggested surgery, but said I could wait a few months to wrap my head around the situation. 4 months went by and unfortunately my original OB is not with Henry Ford any longer.
