Tuesday 9/26/23 i had another appointment for a final fit. i knew i had a sore it hurt as i mounted the lower every time. the doctor's assistant of 30 years took this tool and shaved off a couple of microns. this morning i put my new teeth in and the lower went in no problem. last night i rinsed with the solution they gave me after the pulled my teeth to help heal my gums. i am using that as directed for a few nights see if that sore in my mouth will heal up. dr matthews is retiring but the man he shares his office space wit... read more

Tuesday 9/12/23 i got my new teeth. the upper fit l perfectly. i had had a temporary upper for a few months so i knew that would be easier. the lower had not had that. i had no lower teeth. the lower gums have been reforming themselves so that the appliance fits. it is Sunday the 17th ,i put a little denture holder on the lower because it tends to come off when i take too big a bite. the only problem is that Dr Matthews in retiring at the end of the year. he could make a common business arrangement with another professional ... read more

My only compliment to Dr Matthew and of course his friendly staff is I keep forgetting to take my dentures out at night….. I don’t see how it gets better than that!!!

I had my follow up appointment the other day and I wasn't healed up enough to get the rest of my teeth removed. This is going to be a project. However I went in and talked to the office manager today and we had a very nice meeting. She explained the treatment plan to me again and we went over it and I think it's gonna work out just fine. One can tell that doctor Matthews is a good employer as well as an excellent professional in his field.
