I could not have asked for a more caring environment for my father during the end of his life. The entire family was treated with appropriate kindness. It would be a wonderful thing if everyone could spend their final hours in such a place.

NO stars. My mother was sorely neglected during her stay. I'm talking about BASIC care! They lost her while she roamed about the bldg, did not provide any assistance with eating or drinking, or provide even a clean depends pad. When I picked her up she was sitting in a urine-soaked chair with nothing on but a pair of soaking wet pants. Don't put your loved one here under any circumstances.
My wife recently died at age 56 of ovarian cancer at the affiliated Neighborhood Hospice. The caregivers were great, but after she died two jewelry items, that held great sentimental value, and that were listed on their inventory sheet when she was admitted, were stolen off her dead body. The administration's answer to me was they are going to review their policy in the future. Nothing about identifying who cleaned her body after I left the room or any type of investigation. Does this provider maintain a professional appearance? Absolutely! You can tell that he/she really makes an effort to look professional How would you compare this provider to others in his/her field that you have visited? Among the best I have seen Did you have to wait long after you arrived for your appointment? No, I didn't have to wait very long
Do you feel that you could have received better service somewhere else? No, I don't think so Was it clear that this provider takes pride in the appearance of his/her office? Yes, the office was well organized and taken care of
The nurses of the hospice team were so smart and knew all about the right medicines to manage pain that the doctors didn't seem to know how to fix. They really care about everybody including the family.
