Ever since we switched to Neighborhood Association Management (NAM) a few years ago, they haven’t done a good job with maintaining our front yards. Since we don’t have a clubhouse or swimming pool, all they have to do is maintain our front yards and common areas. But Grass is dying, weeds are everywhere, plants are dying, brown leaves are not cleaned out. We have around 70 houses in our community and we all pay our HOA fees on time monthly. That’s more than $8,000/month and this is what we get?
The only way to reach out to the management is via email and no response to calls or voicemail. Even if you get connected to the operator, it's going to be of no help and very rude disconnecting the calls without listening to the concerns.
I'm a board member of a very small HOA in Oakland, and I reached out to Neighborhood Association Management after hours looking for help dealing with a situation we've been having. The owner personally called me back a few minutes later and filled me in on the right way to deal with our situation. I enjoyed talking with Charlie and was positively impressed by his candor and generosity in the help he offered. This company will be my first call when seeking management services in the future.
NAM has been managing the Villa Nova HOA in San Mateo for a couple years and so far the company team has been excellent. The communication is outstanding and the attention level is honorary. As a previous board member at Villa Nova, I dealt with 3 other HOA companies in 10 years before NAM and I am happy that they are a perfect fit. Kudos to Nathan and Lydia for their knowledge and management skills. I highly recommend using NAM as a management company.
This is a first-rate management company. They have been the managers at my condominium complex for some time and they have done a far better job than any management company we have had (which has been three in the last 23 years). I would like to particularly thank Dee Lachner, the senior manager there, for her unfailing efforts to always be courteous and professional with us.
