No geriatric care. Turnover is high. Waiting times for appointments too long. some physicians lack skills to develop trust with patients as partners in their medical decisions

This is a company with a mission! Largely taking care to do no harm, they have improved services, like the lab and x ray, they have guiding philosophy to excel and give quality care to Islanders. The only thing I don't like is the "music on hold", that is played on the phone system. The front desk and records people are on the ball, and my doctor is wonderful.

I really like the staff and excellent doctors. My only complaint is how short the appointments are. They are typically 15 minutes. Very difficult to cover most issues in that allotted time. To see my doctor is usually a month or more out. Even so, it is a relief to have excellent health care on island.

Misdiagnosed with gastritis when I actually have stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Wasted a month treating gastritis with nexium per the doctor at neighborcare. And they still want $77 of my money.

They once gave a baby the wrong shot. The wait times to get an appointment is generally weeks ahead, meaning we had to go off-island for care concerning flus and infections. The wait time in the lobby is about 30 minutes to an hour and even after that there is a wait time for the doctor after the nurse practitioner sees you that is about 20-30 minutes (though I've once waited 40 minutes in that empty room by myself listening to the clock tick and wondering if they forgot me).
