I have known Dr Gabriel since 2016. He has performed multiple procedures on me and I have nothing but the utmost praise for him and for his staff. I saw him recently in his Leesburg office. His office was super clean and neat as usual. The chairs were spaced out in compliance with COVID distancing. Hand sanitizers were present. A one time use pen was given to me. I never got in to see the doctor. The receptionist wasn’t wearing a mask- she told me she didn’t have to because COVID IS NOT S REAL THING. Other patient were not wearing masks either. After waiting over 40 minutes- and asking about the masks, they asked me to leave for being difficult. I can’t trust any doctor’s practice if they do not respect science and do not care about taking their ( largely elderly) patients safe.

WARNING - DO NOT TRUST!!! Beyond horrible. Staff is extra ordinarily rude and unorganized. I HIGHLY recommend you get a different doctor. I had a colonoscopy scheduled; they called back and said I had to switch to inpatient - an increase in my cost by over $3,000. I since found that the hospital has NEVER had a colonoscopy inpatient. When I tried to explain this to the nurse - she HUNG UP!!!!!

My wife and I came to The Villages about a year ago and we needed to get established with a Gastroenterologist because my wife has Crohn's disease and I myself needed a colonoscopy. Dr Gabriel was recommended to us by virtually all our neighbours and when I asked my primary care doctor about him he told "you've got the best". I looked up his Bio and it was impressive. Dr. Gabriel was wonderful. He took time with me before and after my endoscopy . The Thoracic Surgeon called me immediately because he had high regards for Dr. Gabriel. We are fortunate to have found such talented doctors locally

Finally found a Gastro Doc that is professional and has knowledge of nutrition. Additional test required but needed to be certain of diagnosis.

Visited Gabriel after urgent care with CT and ultrasound results for follow up. He sat down and sent the appointment time on his laptop typing. Asked why I was there. Told him conditions. He said l needed my blood tested. I told him that was in the report from urgent care. He looked, said not complete test. I told him look on the back of the report page for what he wanted. Told me what I had and gave me a prescription for a drug and told me to take them and if they didn’t help buy Imodium over the counter. Then said a CT exa... read more

My experience with Dr. Gabriel was excellent. He was very patient with me as I've had difficult colonoscopies in the past. He then took extra time with me during my follow-up.
