Desert Storm combat veteran who was seen for a GERD evaluation as symptoms were worsening. Prior to this examination with this VA contracted provider, I had a 30% disability rating for GERD from the VA but a week and half later my rating was lowered to 10% as a result of this "examination". This examination lasted no more than 10 minutes instead of the normal 45 minutes for a Comp & Pen examination. I felt like I was rushed out the door.
