I went to see Dr. Gross to do a full body mole check. He thought I was a teenager and kept talking about teens- I am 26, did he not even look at my chart? Then he said, “people your age don’t get cancer”. I just wanted him to check a couple moles that have changed shape. He barely looked at me and ignored my concern regarding specific moles. Will not be going back. My one star is for the kind staff.
He has a bad attitude. It’s even in the name. Just gross. Told me the lesion I had was keratosis, I knew better. It’s actually bcc and can be life threatening if not treated in time. I tried explaining what I thought it was and he treated me like I was acting like I knew better than him. Obviously I did and am scheduled for MOH’s surgery now after a second opinion. Don’t trust this guy.
He did not give me a full body inspection, like I've heard some women complain that they had to undress fully. I wouldn't have done that anyway. Just my leggs and back were quickly looked at. Not my stomach or chest. I didn't agree with his advice for a prescription I asked for, ,because I can Google., and get better advice.
