Dr. Shindel is great at what he does and that is to prevent you from dying from colon cancer, IF you follow his recommendations you will do just fine, is he the friendliest Doctor, No "butt" he knows his stuff. I didn't go to him to make friends just to stay healthy!!! THANKS DOCTOR SHINDEL, see you in another 3 yrs.
Appointment 3:15pm on a Monday. Waited till 3:58pm in waiting area by front desk... whole area packed with waiting patients. Finally get called to exam room, blood pressure checked by nurse. I ask... is the Dr really busy? Nurse replies, yes hes running abit behind today. Waiting on Dr to see me... its now 4:52pm. All I hear is desk staff laughing and chatting away... oh... Dr came in.. its 4:57pm 😑😑 Might have to look around for another Gastro.
For routine colonoscopy, this doctor does not set up a pre-procedure appointment and there is no blood work up, and yet performs the routine preventative colonoscopy at an office floor that is considered hospital outpatient, when it is neither in a hospital, nor justified. Hence, the entire process is to maximize profits since as an outpatient facility, they can charge over three times more, and also doesn’t even examine the patient before setting up the colonoscopy appointment. I don't like this doctor
My mom had her colonoscopy with Dr shindel, she was not happy with her interaction with him. He was cold, indifferent, and didn’t even bother to see her after her procedure. He should retire, he obviously doesn’t care about his patients.
