This is NOT an urgent care! They bill as outpatient hospital type visit! They "warn" new patients as they check in but that doesn't stop the name from being deceiving and giving incorrect information when sick/injured are looking for urgent care
Maybe tell potential patients that you don’t have technology to treat them before you take them in & charge them without actually providing any services.
Was just there for 3.5 hours! My diagnosis was inconclusive all test results came back negative but they only test for Strep, Covid and influenza. I was waiting so long in the patient room I actually looked for someone to assist me. I was also told they would write a prescription in case the results were wrong. To add, the reviews were right they do NOT charge urgent care pricing (although sign says urgent care) but emergency room pricing . Urgent does not belong in their name. Called at 12:40. Told no wait. Have two physicians so patients are in and out. Arrived at 1:00p. Have a very sore ankle and foot. No wheelchair offered. Got a room at 1:10. Nurse at 1:20. Doctor at 2:40. Needed an X-ray and blood draw. 3:30 X-ray. 5:00 finally got a diagnosis. Nothing. Omg. 4 hours to get a non diagnosis. As it turns out, no X-ray radiology here so X-ray has to be sent out. Same with blood tests. Grossly under staffed. Limited onsite capabilities makes this place hugely ... read more
Can I give ZERO stars? NCH Urgent Care on Marco Island does not charge as an Urgent Care facility. They charge as a hospital visit, even though it says ON THE BUILDING that they are URGENT Care. I asked for Covid test and was given standard an at home test because "lab tests" were not available. Although I was charged $180! Additionally, I had a slight cough. Doctor thought I should have an X-ray to check for pneumonia. Seemed like they were trying to upcharge on things. Add $393. And to top it off... a charge of $1327 for t... read more
