I recently had an ER visit at NCH Healthcare System and wanted to share my experience. I understand that hospital and provider services are billed separately, but I was surprised to receive Level 4 charges from both the facility and the provider for a single visit. The primary diagnosis was a corneal abrasion, and based on the care I received, this did not seem consistent with the level of complexity typically associated with that billing level.
