Absolutely the worst hospital experience imaginable starting with the ER and followed by the worst care in the hospital with the world’s most incompetent hospitalist. How did this hospital manage to buy their way into being a top rated hospital? Apparently they did not read their deplorable reviews.

My mother who is 93yrs of age was transferred from Main to North NCH for a spine Kyphoplasty two days ago. She was NPO, told to sign her procedure paperwork then bumped off the schedule. Reason? None, just that they would move her to the 29th. SHES in excruciating pain and I am Texas hearing her say “Lord just take me” and it’s hard to believe no one will answer a phone from “patient relations” and head of department says they are short staffed so that’s why she can’t have pain control or her procedure? Shameful.

I was in severe pain. The ER Dr was very concerned. I had surgery the previous week. Cat scan found a baseball size pocket of blood in my appendix area. I was very impressed with his concern. He stopped several times to tell me test results. I was transferred to 5th floor. The nursing care was superb. And I required a lot of care. Bedfast, tests, etc. My only criticism is the slowness of the pharmacy!!! The wait for drugs while in severe pain was way too long.

Been there twice inpatient great care given very clean. Its the only place I like to go if I need a hospital.
