We had a policy for more than 20 years. Never filed a claim and always paid premiums on time. Last couple of years the rates almost doubled without a valid explanation. So bad that the latest renewal included a state-mandated declaration that they were charging me more than what is allowed by NC law! The agent told me that it was their policy to penalize me for just having one policy with them.
