Our daughter told us about this place! She was not wrong about the delicious food! Nawal, the owner was extremely hospitable and wonderful to talk to. Great food, huge portions, fantastic service and beautiful ambiance.
GREAT FOOD! I can’t say enough about the food and service. Go here and you will not be disappointed! I had the Moroccan chicken and it was divine. Enough for leftovers too! The bread pudding and baklava is amazing as well. Thank you for serving the best! I only wish you had come to Traverse City!! 😉
If you have not been to this little hidden gem- RUN! Plan on extra time as Nawal runs the place with very little help, and yet she does not miss an opportunity to make you feel valued. You will go away with a tummy full of some of the most delicious foods you have ever eaten and a heart full of treasured stories and with hugs from Nawal herself. When you visit a place like this - you leave feeling like you just made a new friend. We will for sure be back!

best grape leaves recipe ever imo. That includes Detroit, Dearborn, GR, Lansing areas, etc...love these. Kibbee is also wonderful! Such a diamond in this smaller town❣☺🍻
Tonight my husband and I dined at Nawal’s and I have never had such a wonderful experience at a restaurant. The food was AMAZING. The service was AMAZING. We felt spoiled and loved every minute of it! From the appetizers to the gyros, every bite was wonderful. We had cupcakes for dessert and you could tell they were made with love and passion! Thank you to Nawal and her sweet husband for a beautiful dinner and evening with what felt like old friends.

Amazing food and service! The chef is very attentive to dietary needs and went out of her way to provide me with an absolutely delicious vegan, GF piece of chocolate ganache cake (swoon worthy, believe me!) and this was after she already switched out a couple ingredients in my main course to make my meal vegan. I already cannot wait to come back and will absolutely recommend Nawals to anyone!
