I’ve been with navy fed for 7 years. Not once did I have an issue depositing checks. However at the western location they are holding all my checks. I can’t get a straight answer but the ego driven rude manager there did tell me I wasn’t a desired member. By far the worst branch and they refuse to even follow their own guidelines
By far the worst bank I’ve ever had. If you aren’t active military you get treated like you’re nothing but an inconvenience here. My first 8 months with they insisted on holding all of my checks. My workplace doesn’t provide direct deposit. Finally after many months of holding my money they are again refusing to cash my checks without holding for multiple days. Continuely charges a $29 return check fee. It added up to over $200 in fees and they still werent stopping. I had to call and for half an hour on the phone, they took back 2 fees, leaving us with $174 going to nothing. I guess were not going grocery shopping this paycheck.
It’s pretty Sad That navy federal doesn’t offer any assistance to hurricane Florence victims! And don’t say the low interest rate loans because you can’t get them without having good credit! But there’s other banks like usaa giving there customers assistance not loans but assistance!!! After this storm I will leave navy federal for good I rather deal with establishments who come together with there community in such horrific times!!!
I just love their persona,they are always courteous,polite, friendly and willing to help you, they answered all of my questions to my satisfaction.
