Service is very poor and wait are long due to lack of folks? I would think that when they are busy it would be all hands on deck including the manager if that is what it takes. I have many other issues which I email the CEO Mary McDuffie about and one of her staff called me after a month to offer excuses! Mary did not have the nerve to call. She is not Navy and certainly is no leader. I can only see the service getting worse. I will be moving my money elsewhere soonest!
I recently refinanced my home through Navy Federal. Not one problem.. NOT ONE. That was 6 months ago. So last week we decided to bill consolidate. I CALLED, the call took about 20 minutes. When finished I was told that I would be contacted within the hour with a decision. I said WHAT?, really? Within the hour I was approved. I was told that all of the documents would be mailed to me as I requested. 3 days later I received a envelop as promised. I did not open it till this evening. Great Company! Super nice all around. They offer all products you would ever need.
Deposited a 4500 check, they put a 48 hour hold on it. I call and the manager says they can release 2500.... I go pay for a car repair and low and behold OVERDRAWN by $750! Still a hold, some cockamamie story about a float.... Bull.
I've been with navy federal credit union for 14 years now and not once have I had a problem. It is by far the best bank I've ever dealt with. Need to open up a branch in northern Michigan. They have Great motivated employees they go above and beyond.
