Navy Exchange Car Care Center is closed! They will now be a Pep Boys. I was told by a representative when I went there they should be open first week of October. *Previous service would habe been 4 NEX Car Care Center has not updated their hours to reflect this, nor have they posted any information on the NEX website. They still site open hours. The phone just rings with no recording of it being closed and the future status. Would have been helpful to know before going there.
Permanently closed, until Pep Boys take over in near future.
Not useful for buying anything. They're a skeleton of what they used to be, just go elsewhere.
1. Safety inspections no longer offered. "It's on the door" as the worker said. I went last month and they switched from appointments to walk-ins, and now apparently it's not a service that's offered. 2. No Appointments. Needed some general car maintenance, apparently there's a window of time to drop off my car and they'll get to it when they get to it, but don't drop it off too late. My only issue is that they don't take appointments so it's 1st come, 1st serve. So far all the times I tried to get my car in, I was quoted the waittime is a couple of hours, which I don't mind waiting if I didn't have things to do. Even if I come before 7am (when it opens), there's already a line.
