1. Safety inspections no longer offered. "It's on the door" as the worker said. I went last month and they switched from appointments to walk-ins, and now apparently it's not a service that's offered. 2. No Appointments. Needed some general car maintenance, apparently there's a window of time to drop off my car and they'll get to it when they get to it, but don't drop it off too late. My only issue is that they don't take appointments so it's 1st come, 1st serve. So far all the times I tried to get my car in, I was quoted the waittime is a couple of hours, which I don't mind waiting if I didn't have things to do. Even if I come before 7am (when it opens), there's already a line.
I called to get the pricing on a used tire for my car and the representative was extremely rude. I was astonished about the price for a tire and he asked me where I got cheaper tires at (Texas) and stated” that’s why Texas is under water now.” I told him that’s not okay to say knowing that people lost their lives and she proceeded to not care. He was extremely unprofessional and insensitive the entire conversation.
I usually visit the Firestone on Hickam side of JBPHH, but they didn’t have any availability before my safety inspection expired. I went to this place on a recommendation but I wasn’t even aware of it’s existence! The staff were very nice and friendly, inside had a nice waiting area with vending machine and TV, the place was super clean, and very accommodating! The safety inspection was free!! I was really delighted to find that out!! I’ll definitely be back for paid services in the future!!
First come first serve for most auto care. Inspections by appointment only. Good place for tire purchases. There are benches out front and a modest lobby inside to wait. Not much for autopart surplus but the NEXt level reward opportunities are high when you shop here.
