Was able to walk on base twice without getting ID-ed with a fat bag. Many people walking around in uniform with headphones on.

Not everything at Portsmouth Naval was super smooth all the time, but now that my husband is retired and we’re navigating civilian healthcare, we miss Portsmouth so much. The care, the access, and the support we had there really stand out in comparison. Looking back, we appreciate it far more than we realized when we had it. The pediatric specialty Doctors there specifically allergy and gastro are AMAZING!

I would give 0 stars if I could. Had a major surgery here, the surgeon did not look for the cause of the problem, she simply cut me open at 20 years old and then ghosted me. Their medical facility knew little to NOTHING about my conditions, how to manage pain (was screaming for hours immediately post surgery), or how to keep in contact with a patient. My husband and I don’t even know where to start to express our gratitude for every single person who took care of us during our baby’s delivery.
