Will say you can change to a civilian clinic to get seen but then say you have to stay with the military clinic. Their advice: pay out of pocket if you want to go to a civilian clinic. Suck it up about the payments and costs because they don’t care about being helpful at all.

If I could give them a 0, I would. I went in for bald spots on my head and he immediately told me "well it's not as bad as everyone else". Then he told me the ONLY was to treat it is steroid shots directly into my scalp. This happened with 2 separate doctors, and the second doctor I had specifically told that the shots are not helping. He belittled me some more then had a trainee do the steroid shots without asking me first. The ER team treated me professionally and kindly, while there was a waiting period between diagnosis and treatment the team kept checking on me and making sure I was good while I waited. The pharmacy was very prompt and nice. Overall I did notice any major differences between this ER and a civilian ER so great job to the doctors, nurses, HMs, and pharmacists. Thanks for getting me out of pain and back to normal!

I brought my husband to the ER, and from the moment we arrived, we received exceptional care from both the nurses and physicians. Everyone was attentive, compassionate, and kept us informed about his condition and plan of care as information became available. Their communication and willingness to answer our questions made an incredibly stressful situation a little easier for both of us.
