Called to schedule my annual physical, asked to have labs scheduled prior to physical so I can discuss results with the doctor during physical like I've done for the last 30 plus years. I'm told they will not schedule labs prior, only after the physical is complete if doc/nurse deems them necessary. In what world does it make sense to schedule labs after the annual check up? Been a patient here for five years and have never once felt cared for. I have had Indepenent Duty Corpsman do more with less for patient care. NHP seems to think their only job is flight physicals for baby aviators, and anything further is beyond their mandate. Truly a hospital in name only. Save yourself the trouble and just do Tricare Select now.
