I can only describe them as uncaring and unwilling to help with any situation outside of the bare minimum required. Running out of time to make it to your next command due to how long it took for them to set up visits out in town? Who cares. You're just one sailor out of many. Dental provider is on leave when you got the updates? You'll have to wait for them to come back. You have 28 days left till you have to show up your your next command, too? "You still have 4 weeks." Don't know how to answer their phone. Only 1 number and it will take 2-3 hours of constantly calling before someone picks up.
They never answer the phone.
Terrible execution of service. I broke a tooth on cruise and got a temporary fix which they told me would have to be replaced back on shore. I had to argue with the dental staff at NAS Lemoore that it needed to be fixed at all and when they finally agreed to work on it, they botched the entire tooth (not to mention a crown I had recently just under it) and now I can’t chew on my right side. I’m literally too scared to go back, because I don’t know what else I will come away with being worse. Thanks NAS Lemoore.
