Before moving to the 5424 S. Cornell property, I want to you to go to your neighborhood Lowe’s or Home Depot and imagine sleeping there. That would be the equivalent. Maintenance workers have been here Monday through Friday with hammering and loud power drills for months! It disturbs my sleep in the early morning and I can’t relax throughout the day. I have just moved and I was living there for 2 years. The people in the building are very nice and friendly. The management of this building is terrible. The maintenance guys are very nice and helpful. This building always has an issue whether it’s roaches all over the building to the heat not working in the winter the hot water not working or the elevator is always broken. Slumlords for sure. They don’t fix anything but patch everything up and oftentimes don’t even acknowledge an issue. 7271 is infested with mice. I’ve submitted more than 1 maintenance request about mice and they have yet to attempt to rectify, and they know I have a small child. There buildings are under-maintained. The reason I am giving this property management five stars is because they are known for handling business in a professional manner. Recently the light fixture in my bathroom was repaired the right way without me waiting weeks for it to be done.
Just moved in about a week or two ago, everything has been completely amazing. The owners and workers were very helpful and nice. The apartment was beautiful and very spacious for a studio. Excited to spend my upcoming years here!
