Our family had a wonderful time in Chatham at the Nauset Rental on Lovers Lake. The house was spacious, clean and nicely appointed. There were so many decks to relax on as well as enjoy a meal outside. The view of the lake was lovely and every day we walked down the little path behind the house to enjoy fishing, swimming and kayaking. The beds were comfortable. This is our 3rd year staying at Bay Haven and this trip has become a beloved family tradition! It is a beautifully appointed home only steps from a quiet, secluded beach. Nauset Rental is extremely accommodating and attentive to all inquiries & questions and their rental process is seamless. We are already looking forward to our 4th stay next summer at this slice of paradise!
We stayed at one of Nauset Rental's properties in Orleans last week. The positive reviews helped us make the decision to go with this property. The location was wonderful! But, we were dismayed by the cottage's conditions. In looking more closely at reviews since then, I noticed many complaints about poor conditions and about Nauset Rental not responding appropriately to these complaints. The location was great, just a short walking distance to Thumpertown Beach. The house had plenty of room for 8 adults. The one thing we would suggest is updating some of the mattresses, especially the twin ones. Also, the waterproof mattress covers were a bit "noisy." Otherwise, we would highly recommend this house!
