We have been coming to the Cape for over 20 years. This was our first time renting a property from Nauset Rental Group. We were thrilled with the experience! Nauset Rentals is a scam. They clearly take no pride in their rentals, or the experience of their renters. Our first thought on arrival was that the house looked abandoned. The yard was overgrown, the siding, front steps, and porch were covered in a year of dirt and grime. Inside, the house was infested with flies, and the ACs were off- even in the heat wave. STAY AWAY FROM NAUSET RENTAL I would give zero stars if possible. One of the most unacceptable experiences I’ve ever had. -listing stated a heated pool. Someone came over twice and confirmed the filter and heater were not working. Said someone from pool company would be over. No one came. Brought this up to them after the stay was over and they are refusing any sort of refund -house was OVERRUN this flies. Again brought this up and they didn’t address. I have rented the same house for a very long time and dealt with another agency. This year we dealt with Nauset Rental and I have to tell you the experience was excellent. They managed the property very well. Whoever their Cleaning team was they did a great job the house was meticulously cleaned when we got there. We stayed at 21 Dewey Ave #9. Wow what an absolute scam. We payed $6,150 for 4 nights and arrived to find the AC was out (it was 90 degrees in the home and extremely unsafe), outdoor shower was in shambles and not working, electrical was wired horribly and unsafe, dead bugs everywhere, cobwebs everywhere, lights were flickering on and off throughout the night, they left a bucket of water out front on the porch for clearly months (mold and algae inside) that then bred mosquitos so we were getting bitten even inside constantly... read more
