Every time I visit southern California, I have to make a stop at Naugles Tacos & Burgers to pick up their famous cheese burrito! When I was in high school in Whittier, CA in 1984, my friends and I would go to our local Naugles to gorge ourselves on cheese burritos with red or green sauce, fries, and bun tacos, usually after a party we had all attended. Wife and I were feeling nostalgic about Naugles when we were young-er 😆. So we made the drive to Fountain Valley. Service: Top notch. Extremely nice 👍 Food: we ordered.... Taco Salad - ok. But not like we remember. Macho Taco - Awesome! Ortega Burger - Tasty Combo burrito green 🌯 and bean/cheese - beans were very dry on both??? Need to work on that. Also too much beans. Half the amount would work 😀

Most excellent! Thank you for bringing back these tasty bites reminiscent of my late high school years. Stopped by to get the bean & cheese w/red sauce and a couple of macho tacos. Soooo good! Took my Gen Z kid to try & she loved the burrito. We will be back for the good grub & to support this local business. Thank you to the friendly staff!

We had the Ortega Burgers and they were delicious. Great meat to cheese and produce ratio; very tasty. The crinkle-cut fries were crispy but not overdone. Chicken soft taco was tasty and twice the size that you would get at fast food venues. The tostadas were plentiful and the meat was perfectly seasoned to offset the rest of the ingredients. The service was great and they accommodated the needs for our kids tastes. I will return and try different items that I couldn't try this time Thank you

Our family gathered at Naugles Tacos & Burgers in Fountain Valley for a Celebration of Life lunch honoring my dad, Jim Naugle, following his interment at Rose Hills Memorial Park. As far as I know, we are not related to Dick Naugle’s family, and this was not my father’s restaurant. We chose Naugles Tacos & Burgers because it felt right. My family lived in California during the height of Naugles’ success in the 1980s, and it was part of the backdrop of our lives.
