DO NOT GO HERE!! We stopped in on a hot Saturday afternoon for some refreshments, but that's not what we got... This restaurant has terrible customer service!!! As soon as we walked in, there were scowls on the employees faces, as if we were inconveniencing them by giving them our patronage. The trays were sticky and had food particles all over them and their high chairs were disgusting with caked on food also. If you are looking for a quick bite full of taste but without all the bad stuff this is your choice. Perfect pitstop on the way to Bayshore or nearby parks. Cute patio makes for enjoyable experience with little ones that may like to wander.
This place has been here forever and survived the many store closings that have occurred in Hyde Park so that says something! Probably your best healthy option in Hyde Park if you are of the health-conscious! The food here has always been fresh and their bread(s) selection is great. They wraps, salads, sandwich , paninis and melts. Pretty good fast lunch options! Service is always quick and friendly. You can't go wrong here to grab a quick, reasonably priced healthy lunch option!
Great place with more potential... With the closing of Indigo coffee shop this place is poised to become the 1500lb gorilla. Espresso and coffee maker offering 10 coffee concoctions. Pastries. WiFi. Power strip by the front window bar seating and you've become a go to coffee shop, smoothie, panini haven. Stay open til 8pm. The potential is there. Let's see if it happens or the opportunity is lost.
