9-24-2024: Sadly, Dan is no longer with us. His barrels were recycled 70 gallon food grade containers, so they were well made, affordable and held a lot of rainwater. The ones I received were used to store onions. When considering recycled containers, always choose food grade. You don’t want a barrel container that was used for anything toxic. I used brass fittings. They work right and will last. .
The best way to reach Dan is by email. I ordered one 70 gallon barrel from Dan about 5 years ago and it was great. I just contacted him again by email and he replied quickly. He’s still doing this rain barrel thing! Dan knows more about setting up a system than anyone I’ve talked with. He answered all my questions and delivered five 70 gal. barrels last week.
