My first-time appointment, the other day, was for a shampooed & conditioned, blow-out silk press, a deep conditioning treatment, trim and buzz cut. I loved being surrounded by people who understood how important going natural was for me. There are salons that aren’t sensitive to the transition and will blow dry your hair without the benefit of a heat protectant (I’ve experienced this personally). Which can destroy your curl pattern in the process. Or in extreme cases I’ve read about salons that will actually add relaxer to their shampoos for us naturals that come in. I was very skeptical about cutting my hair also if the stylist would give me want I wanted. Let me tell you guy Mr. Egypt is the truth I came all the way from Edison, NJ and it was well worth it the staff was all so wonderful as well.
Today I visited the salon. I’m always apprehensive about trying new hair salons, especially traveling from LI. I must say I was pleasantly impressed and satisfied. When I walked in I was greeted immediately and they were very professional. My stylist Natasha was very nice and I didn’t have to tell her how I like my hair styled. She nailed it!!!! Thank you for such a great experience. I’ve already recommended this place to my friends who are natural.
I have already recommended you to my sister in love. Even though my Stylist was quite busy that night, everyone that I came in contact with was very professional. The Customer Service was Excellent and I loved the end result.
